Our Buildings & History

We are a traditional village church, with a contemporary feel, set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. Parts of the building have been in existence since the twelfth century, and there are many elements of interest for the historian and the visitor alike.  But a church is more than a building; it is the people who gather together to worship God and to have fellowship with one another.

In the grounds of the church, there is a modern church hall, Cross House, which is available for people to hire for their own events.  There is a large ground-floor hall, suitable for parties and concerts, with an adjoining kitchen.  Cross House also has several meeting rooms, large and small, both upstairs and downstairs.

Cross House was built in 1994 with the help of a bequest from a very dedicated former Sunday School teacher, Miss Ella Tubb.  We thank God for her generosity and commitment to the church.
