Adjacent to St James stands Cross House, built in 1994 thanks to a generous bequest from local resident Ella Tubb, and these excellent church rooms are available for private hire. 

The suite of rooms includes a large hall, board-room style meeting room and a recently-refurbished kitchen, as well as two smaller rooms.​ Wi-fi is available, and the building also has a defibrillator fitted to the outside.
