Everything we do is made possible by people giving their time, resources and money. We are very grateful for this.

We give generously as part of our worship to God, and the result is that our church can serve and provide for others in lots of different ways. We also need financial contributions to maintain and repair our Grade 1 listed medieval building.

Ways to Give

We are grateful for all gifts received whether regularly through bank accounts, one-off gifts or in the offerings given Sunday by Sunday. We encourage everyone to consider prayerfully how much they should give to God’s work and to give regularly. Regular giving means that the church can budget more accurately and helps our cash flow.
 

Parish Giving Scheme

St James Church uses the Parish Giving Scheme, which automatically credits the church the amount plus any associated Gift Aid on a monthly basis. This reduces our administrative burden.
